- The site consists of mainly the bottom of the ship with parts of the sides and many pieces of broken iron machinery. The site is in shallow water and a favorite of divers and kayakers. Site Coverage - Partial There are other pieces of wreckage a distance from the wreck that may be parts of Ottawa.
