St. John the Evangelist Parish, Waubaushene

The first St. John the Evangelist Church was built by Pere Jean-Baptiste Nolin in 1906. The first Sacraments were recorded in July of that year.

Sadly, a fire would break out on the evening of November 16, 1914, destroying the church and taking Pere Nolin's life as well.

The present church dates from 1915.
