A well known and prosperous agency devoted to insurance in Belleville and surrounding country which has maintained a wide reputation for honorable straight-forward methods is that of H. F. Ketcheson, whose office is located at 26 Bridge street, 'P. O. Box 249'.. He established himself in business in 1897 in the office he now occupies. He gives special attention to fire, life, accident, sickness, marine, employers liability, automobile and gasoline launches. Having an intimate knowledge of loss adjustments and insurance contracts of every description he demonstrated from the start that he possessed, tact, energy and sound conservative judgment, and at once developed a large influential patronage that is constantly increasing. One advantageous feature of this agency is that policies of insurance -are issued at once by him without delays caused by waiting for reference to head office. Losses are liberally adjusted and promptly paid. The business is under the personal supervision of Mr. H.. F. Ketcheson. Having the advantage of long experience in the business, and being thoroughly acquainted with every department, from the framing of schedules to the adjustment of losses he is eminently fitted to serve his patrons with intelligence and ability. Possessing such qualifications, it is but natural that he should represent some of the most important insurance companies in the world. He is the general agent in Belleville and surrounding district for The North American Life Assurance Company. He also represents the Commercial Union. Asurance Co. of London, England, the largest general insurance company in the world whose total assets exceed $124,000,000. Personally Mr. H. F. Ketcheson is well known throughout Hastings County and highly respected by all for his prompt, fair and upright dealings. At the present time he is president of the Belleville Board of Trade. THE STANDARD BANK OF CANADA The Belleville branch of The Standard Bank of Canada was opened in 1906 and a steady and substantial progress marks its history and prosperous existence. Thompson is the city ticket agent in Belleville for the Grand Trunk Ry. System. He also handles steamship tickets for every line sailing in Canada and will be. pleased to give you any information desired in traveling over these popular lines which have been inseparably linked with the progress and development of the Dominion. The office is located at 30 Bridge street. Mr. Thompson has been the agent here for the G.T.R. for many years.
