She gets a lot of satisfaction from helping put the monthly program together for her group and arranging an annual field trip. "They're a great bunch of people and they all have the museum at heart," she said. LaVallee's other passion is singing. She has belonged to church choirs for much of her life. She's a member of the Bridge Street United Church choir for a quarter century. "I've always enjoyed singing. That's been my first love."
