It's changed dramatically." Th£ dynamics of family have changed and it is "far more complex" today, as is society compared to the "black and white" situation in years gone by. But he said change was good if it was structured. Glancey said he has worked hard at being able to relate to today's students. "Probably my greatest strength has been the ability to connect with kids." Perhaps surprising for an educator, Glancey said he does not do a lot of read- ing. However, Glancey said he would read a retirement book he purchased. He conceded it was not easy to leave Nicholson. "I'm going to miss the kids. I am going to miss the teachers. I am going to miss the parents." Glancey said he did his best to be fair to everyone.
