Thompson presented Civil Servant George Grenke with his long service certificate and pin. Mr. Grenke joined the RCAF in 1928, progressing to the rank of Warrant Officer 1. On his retirement from' the RCAF in 1957, he joined the civil service at CFB Trenton. In October, 1958, he moved to 6RD. Mr. Grenke will retire from the civil service early in 1967.
