Not long retired from his job in public relations wi(h the Unemploy- ment Insurance Commission, Noel in recent months had come through an operation and, aside from some stiffness in an arm, looked his old self. Noel Stockton wrote for the old Noel Stockton Belleville Advertiser and more recently for weeklies in the area. He and his wife were frequent travellers and in our encounters we enjoyed hearing of their trips south and to England and Europe.
