/vvj0- Happily Wed 50 Years Anniversary congratulations were the order of the day on June 1st for Mr. and Mrs. Jack Thomson, 64 Prince of Wales Drive, as they observed their golden wedding anniversary. Residents of Belleville for the past 32 years, Mr. and Mrs. Thomson came to the city from the Tweed area where they farmed after moving from the Toronto district when they were married. Mrs. Thomson was the daughter of the late Mr. Mrs. Samuel Sedore and was born in Elzevir township. The bridegroom of 50 yers is the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Harry Thomson and was born at Claremoumt north of Tor- onto. After eominig to Belleville Mr. Thomson worked at the Stephens Adamson plant as a machinist until his retirement about 10 years ago. Both are in good health and are active in the Senior Citizen's Club. They are members of College Hill United Church.
