t City native has key role building dome By HENRY BURY Staff Reporter ' A Belleville native will play a key role in construction of the multi- million dollar Toronto dome stadium. Michael Tsichlas, 34, a civil engineer, has been hired by Pre-Fact Ltd. of Toronto, to oversee all the pre- cast concrete installation for the domed stadium. The Toronto firm is building a plant on the job-site and all the concrete for the huge project will be made on the spot. Tsichlas begins his three-year job in Toronto next month. The son of Louis and Stamo Tsichlas of 4 Robertson Lane, Belleville, owner of the Cozy Grill, he attended Centennial Secondary School and received his. civil engineering degree from Queen's University in Kingston. For the past eight years, he's been in Calgary where he was employed by Genstar Ltd. He was also involved in the construction of the Saddledome where the National Hockey League Calgary Flames play their home games. •fella R&b
