MAJOR VAN WART Major retires from Forces Long-time Belleville resident, Maj. Ray Van Wart is retiring from the Canadian Forces after 37 years of service-his last posting being at CFB Trenton. He joined the Royal Canadian Air Force at then-6RD Trenton in 1949 and served at military bases in Canada and overseas-his latest ap- pointment being back at Trenton as senior staff officer of accounts and financing at Training Systems Head- quarters. He and his wife, Dorothy Ellen (Rushnell), of Belleville, have two children, Mark 29, and Matthew, 17. The Van Warts will remain in Belleville during their retirement years. ,
