Retired police officer MJ^Af 2*[ <? 3 Jaques dies at 62 The city's police service said goodbye Monday to a veteran officer who gave more than 30 years to law enforcement in Belleville. Funeral was held at John R. Bush Funeral Home for 62-year-old Glenn Jaques, who died Friday at Kingston General Hospital. A member of the city's police department from 1957 until he retired in May, 1987, Jaques rose from the rank of constable, to detective. After he retired the Victoria Avenue resident continued his con- tact with law enforcement, working as a court officer at Ontario Court (General Division) on Pinnacle Street. He is survived by his wife Myrtle, sons Danny and his wife Kim and Marty, all of Belleville and brother Russell Jaques of Campbell- ford.
