Larry MacDonald was given a gift and plaque by board chair- man Peter Tinsley at the begin- ning of the board meeting and said he has been "constantly impressed" by MacDonald's per- formance throughout the years. MacDonald, he added, has been a "centre point" for an agency that works under "incredible stress and pressure." MacDonald is a native of Belleville whose first job was as a journalist for the radio station CJBQ in 1961-62.
