t>v Dr. Macintosh Opens Practice In the City Douglas A. Macintosh, con- sultant in internal medicine and haematology, has joined the medical profession in Belleville. Dr. Macintosh born in 1931 in Moose Jaw, Sask., received his public schopl education in Belleville and Kingston, gradu- ating from secondary school in Kingston to Queen's Univer- sity. After taking an honors BA, he left university with his MD, CM in 1959 and took post-graduate training at King- ston General Hospital. From 1960-61 he was resi- dent in general practice at the University of Michigan Medical Centre and returned to Kingston General for resi- dency in internal medicine 1961-62. He practiced with a fellow- ship in haematology at the University of Michigan from 1964 to 1965 and the following year at the University of Ot- tawa. He is married to the former Catherine Casselman, of Ber- wick, Ont., and has two child- ren, Ross Douglas, 3, and Cynthia Jean, 20 months.
