IN presenting the Second Volume of the Hastings Directory to the Public, the Publisher begs to thank the business men of the County for the liberal manner in which they have supported the work. Believing that the first edition gave general satisfaction, he feels assured, from the pains which have been taken in the compilation of the present work, that it will, at least, meet with the same favor. It will be observed that several improvements have been made in this edition. Further improvements will be made in future editions.
