ALEXANDRIA COLLEGE--An institution for the higher .education of women, was established at the same time as Albert College, also ranks high as an institution of learning---where young women can take a thorough course in science and languages, especially prepared for them, and receive diplomas. Livingston, Purser; Dr. J. P. Murphy, Physician. LORETTO ACADEMY--Under the direction of the ladies of Lorotto. on E. John St. above Hotel St., is a popular school for the education of young women. It; has a large attendance of pupils, and a thorough and liberal education is given in this institution. THE SEPARATE SCHOOL is also under the direction of the Ladies of Loretto. THE ONTARIO BUSINESS COLLEGE.--This School, under its present able and practical management, has attained to the largest attendance of any of the numerous Business Colleges in the Dominion Robinson and Johnson, Principals.
