I attended Bayview Public School for Grade 3 until graduation of Grade 6. This would have been 1973 to 1976. The gym was so small, but learnt to square dance down there and play floor hockey - such great memories! Everyone knew everyone there, such a great community feeling. Miss Pulver, Mrs Grant, Ms Fox and Mr Smith were some of the teachers I remember. I believe I won the Mr. Hoffman award in Grade 6 for girls. He was the gym teacher that was tragically killed in a motorcycle accident during my time there. Great picture for remembering great times.

I attended Bayview Public School from Grade 2 to 6, from 1958 to 1963. I have great memories of my years there where I made lots of friends, particularly my best friend Wendy. I remember particularly when I was there that the Cuban Missile Crisis occurred. We were all very worried that we would have to prepare for a possible war. Even my family prepared a basement hideout to be ready for a possible war. Anyway, my years there were fun.
