· Historic Hastings 'iJ i^i*^feiS^t2 ! rr A hundred years ago George Ritchie and Company was a busy retail outlet for cloth and other woven goods in downtown Belleville.The Ritchie company had a couple of locations downtown. This sketch was in 1882 when it was located at the current Waljac's site. The original building was torn down in later years. The company, however, moved a few doors south to what is now the S and R store.
