UO O v e-Pb rr Otvos has adjusted to the fact that more production means newer methods. Already, many of the parts are made outside the shop and assembled in his own shop. That includes the aluminum egg-shaped castings, screens, and steel frames for the screens. But Otvos remains confident that he has space to hire more employees at his own shop if expanded business warrants it. And Otvos still sells directly out of his plant, through the Internet and other advertising. And Otvos still gets his woodworking kicks and pride of craftsmanship in his handmade cabinet and finish work. Otvos actually launched his custom woodworking business at Moira in centre Hastings, then took his family to New Zealand for a year to try a new life there. But he came back to Canada in 1980-- and back to the Quinte area, just west of Brighton, where he launched his speaker venture.
