Brian Smith, Fyke's uncle, remembers a "fine, young gentleman." "You couldn't help but like him. He was a good, all-around kid." In addition to school and sports he also worked part-time at the Mc- Donald's on North Front Street. Fyke was part of a group of ap- proximately 25 Belleville students, mostly from Nicholson, who ar- ranged the trip to Daytona Beach. Dalton Lambert says his daugh- ter, Jackie, was one of the organiz- ers and the teens were headed back to Belleville early Saturday and ex- pected to arrive here early today. A niece, Nicole Lentini, was on the trip as well and after the shoot- ing, she phoned home and Chris' brother-in-law, Albert Lentini, came to the house with the devastat- ing news. Smith said his family is still in shock. "It's something you can't compre- hend. It's unbelievable, it's some- thing you hear on the news but you never think it's going to happen to you," he said. Chris Fyke is still trying to get all of the details from police in Daytona Beach and she was frustrated Sat- urday with the lack of information. She said family members will go to Daytona Beach to pick up her son's body and bring him back to Belleville. Funeral arrangements hadn't been made as yet. \
