Gullett, who, for 17 years, practised genera! dentistry in Ficton, has been honored during the annual memorial lecture of the Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Ontario. Dr. Gullett who died in 1973, graduated from the Royal Col- lege in 1923 became on of the best known and most honored practitioner in Canadian den- tistry during his 50-year career. In 1936, Dr. Gullett was elected to serve as a director of the Royal College of Dental Surgeons. He was later appointed se- cretary of the RCDS and in 1942 became its Registrar. In 1945, he was named treasurer of the college. For 22 years he was secre- tary of the Canadian Dental Association, an office he un- dertook in 1942. After his retirement Dr. Gullett wrote the book The History of Dentistry iin Can- ada. He was the recipient of the Medal of Service of the Order of Canada.
