Former city resident returns as speaker TRENTON - Former city resident Isabel Huggan will be a guest of the U n i v e r s i t y Women's Club on Thurs- day, April 12, at 8 p.m., at the Dufferin Centre. With her first book ap- pearing this spring, a collection of eight inter- connected stories called The Elizabeth Stories, Huggan worked as a publishing company copy editor and a teacher of English and theatre in secondary schools. She worked at The Intelligencer as a reporter-photographer from 1974 to 1976, writing a weekly col- umn called All in the Family. She moved to Ottawa in 1980 and has just com- pleted a children's book about old age, and is working on a new collec- tion of stories. The public is welcome to the meeting at 8:45 p.m. - .£V L
