V N Recognized Guy B. Hughes, Tweed Vil- lage representative on t h e Moira River Conservation Au- thority, presented a pen and pencil set to Mrs. Clarence Graham, last Monday, in re- cognition of her late husband's contribution to the Authority during the 16 years he served as a member of the board of directors. The base of the desk set is made from marble tak- en from the Actinolite area quarry on the property once owned by Mr. Graham, and later owned by the M o i r a River Conservation Authority. While making the presenta- tion, Mr. Hughes recalled the countless hours of volunteer work the late Mr. Graham had done to further the inter- ests of the village of Tweed, the county of Hastings and the authority. Mrs. Graham thanked the authority and all who were associated with the presentation of the gift.
