Jim and Jackie Hultquist retired Friday after 30 and 29 years respectively of working at Northern Telecom on Sidney Street. P y Jackie said the couple has no Definite plans for their retirement. "We'll be taking one day at a time. We plan to spend the summer on the water and the fall, travelling. We didn't want to wait too late to enjoy these activities We'd like to do these things while we're still healthy," Jackie said Jim began Jus employment at Northern in the toolroom and worked through various jobs in the tool room and assembly area. Jackie began by stacking coils and worked through the transformer area. Jackie and Jim were born and educated in the Hull- Ottawa area. They have three children.
