Friends help Adams celebrate his 102nd TRENTON -- Friends ana relatives of Adams Humphrey gathered at his home, Thursday, to celebrate the Shuter Street resident's 102nd birthday. Friends from the Stoney Point area near Brighton, where Humphrey farmed until moving to Trenton more than 30 years ago were present for the birthday party. One of the guests brought an old photograph from Mount Carmel School and the centenarian proved that his mind is still clear. He was able to identify several of his former schoolmates. Although he doesn't get around much any more, he says he still en- joys watching television and par- ticularly enjoys watching hockey games. He gave up driving three years ago but is still in his own home. His wife died three years ago after the couple celebrated their 75th wedding an- niversary. Humphrey said he has no advice to pass along this year to other people who want to live a long and useful life Last year in an interview he said one of the keys to longevity was that you mind your own business and everyone should mind their's " Adams Humphrey celebrated his L02nd birthday, Thursday.
