\ ' Lawyer's death shocks TRENTON - The chair- man of th e Trenton Downtown Business Im- provement Area (DBIA) said he is "shocked and saddened" by the sudden death Friday of the association's lawyer. Gerrit Bruinix, said Saturday the DBIA will have to hold a meeting in the near future to decide on what it will do. Don Templeman, of Belleville, a lawyer representing the DBIA in its fight against a proposed commercial development in Sidney Township just outside of Trenton, died Friday morning after being struck by the east bound Turbo train at the CN Sta- tion just outside of Trenton. He was at the station making inquiries on behalf of a client. Templeman had represented the DBIA since 1979 when it first op- posed the construction of a sewer line to the 14-acres commercial development located just south of Highway 401 on Sidney Street. He had led the fight to have an Ontario Municipal Board hearing opened into the commercial develop- ment which could have an adverse affect on the downtown. businessmen
