Belleville's dynamic teenage water skiing duo are the lone On- tarians who have made the six member Canadian National Ju- nior Water Ski team. Two of the other team members come from Quebec while one comes from British Columbia and the other from Manitoba. Jim 13, and Sara, 15, will com- pete in the America's Challenge July 6-10 in Groveland, Florida (near Orlando) against skiers from the United States and Latin America. The competition is for skiers 17 and under. Jim's specialty is tricks. Skiing since the age of four, Jim has al- ways excelled at tricks. "For his age he's way ahead in tricks/1 says his father Harold, the perennial provincial Masters water ski champ. "Tricks is the hardest discipline to learn." At the National champion- ships last year he was second in tricks, second in slalom and sec- ond overall. Sara was first in tricks, second in slalom and 3rd overall at the Nationals last year.
