- Belleville Mayor John Booth recently settled a sports wager that originated with the Belleville Chamber of Commerce, in which should the Belleville Memos win the senior "B" hockey group title, the Kingston mayor must lead a horse ridden by Mayor Both along six city blocks to the the city hall. In the event the Kingston Goodyears won the positions would be reversed with the venue in Kingston
