Notes: Attended funeral at Lucknow. Mr. and Mrs. G.S. Schwindt and Mr. and Mrs. A.E. Heughan were in Lucknow on Wednesday last attending the funeral of the late Mrs. Harold Allin who passed away after a brief illness, and following a major operation, in St. Joseph's Hospital, London, the previous Sunday. The deceased, who was formerly Winnie Gordon, was a sister of Mr. H.H. Gordon, of Detroit, formerly of Walkerton, and is survived by her husband and three children, Carolyn, Jean and Billie. She was a life-long resident of Lucknow and rarely has a death caused such widespread regret in that community. The funeral on Wednesday was attended by a large assemblage of sorrowing friends and relatives. Rev. R.C. Todd, a son of Rev. T.R. Todd, formerly of Walkerton, who is pastor of the Lucknow United Church was the officiating clergyman.
