Death of Henry Arkell - Mr. Henry Arkell, one of the best known and most successful farmers in the township of Culross, died on Sunday, after an illness extending over several months. He was about 70 years of age, and had been three times married. He was an Englishman by birth, and was well educated. He was a scientific farmer, being well up in agricultural chemistry. After coming to Canada, he held the position of foreman for many years on F.W. Stone's big farm, the present site of the Ontario Agricultural College. He was a large breeder of thoroughbred sheep. Messrs James and Archie Tolton of Walkerton attended the funeral on Tuesday.
