The Late Edward Hickson.

The remains of the late Edward Hickson, of the firm of Hickson, Duncan & Co., fancy goods, Front street, arrived in the city last night from Lynchburg, Va. and the funeral will take place at 3 o'clock today from All Saints to St. James Cemetery. Mr. Hickson was a successful business man and is said to have made a good deal of money during the real estate boom in Parkdale some years back. He came from Seaforth about seventeen years ago and was the leading partner in the firm of W.H. Bleasedale & Co. until he afterwards succeeded to the business, which has since been carried on under the present firm name.

He was 53 years of age and leaves a widow and seen children. Globe. Mr. Hickson was at one time engaged in business in Walkerton.
