Public school board trustees are providing space in a soon to be announced Oshawa school for the'establishment of a French first language unit, scheduled to open this September. The Durham public board now buses the ele- mentary students to a Scarborough school and the secondary students to a North York high school, although many attend Ecole Secondaire Catholique Charles Garnier in Whitby, the Durham separate board's french' language high school. A plan to open a French school in Ajax last year was put on hold but Robert Fletcher, chair of the public board's French Henry Street High School's rro(luction of Runipelstiltzkin, -lie poptîlar fantasy adventure, eaturing original student niusical compositions, wîll be resented tonight at 7:30 p.m. and closes with a rnatinee Sunday.
