0 Letter Women, too can be abusers The jury demanding the overhaul of the -CAS (Children's Aid Society) in response to the death of 22 month old Ilittle girl Shanay has missed a significant fact. The College of Family Physicians urges MD's to battle child abuse. They too have missed a significant fact. The majority of child abuse is done by women. This'reality is totalled ignored because it is politically incorrect. The media would rather waste its time running articles about women in politics being sexually harassed. Meanwhile children are dying! Ongoing stories of alleged adult victims of abuse (usually women) and the justification for allowing them to commit murder are quickly forgotten by most people. Remember Marion Boyd's battered women syndrome for (the poor victim) Karla Homolka. Some victim Ms. Boyd. Big "F" Feminists agendas are allowing women in the cases like Homolka's to kill (three young female teenage) children and walk away virtually unpunished. Is "beat'm tili they're dead" because I am a victim, going to continue to be accepted in our courts? Meanwhile children are dying! Why do women, in the majority of cases abuse children, usually their own? Are they stressed? Are the angry? Are they abused? Who cares? Certainly not Alan Rock and the Federal Liberals. This article is not about men or women; if you read it and feel that way you may be part of the problem. It is the reality that many children are being abused and some are being murdered. Whether it's a woman or a man doing the crime is not the important issue; children are dying while the media, Alan Rock & the Liberals as well as big "F" Feminists fan the flames of hatred and stereotyping against men. Meanwhile children are dying! Why does Alan Rock ignore these solutions? Alan Rock does not care about child abuse? The majority of the Liberal Party share Rock's position on Bill C-41. At least one Liberal, Ivan Grosse, is on record as saying these issues are sexy. Another Liberal, Alex Shepherd, thinks women and men get divorced only for income tax reasons. Action Party Candidate ru By MIKE KOWALSKI Free Press Staff Writer Whitby voters will have the option of choosing a candidate from Canada's newest political party in next month's federal election. Claremont area resid nt Robert Radford will represent the Canadian Action Party in Whitby-Ajax riding on June 2. A self-employed r, "gement consultant, Radford will be one of 150 candidates the fledgling party hopes to have nominated across Canada. Founded by former Liberal and Progressive Conservative MP Paul Hellyer, the Canadian Action Party (CAP) hopes to capitalize on growing voter disenchantment with the mainstream parties, Radford said. "Maclean's (magazine) did a survey -which found that 78 per cent of voters are disaffected," said Radford. "If we can pick up only a portion of those, there will be a good chance of electing someone or hoPEFully put the Liberals (current government) in a 'ns in Whitby-Ajax minority position to make them more responsible," he said. "I have fond memories of Lester Pearson who did a lot and was responsive to the people," added Radford in reference to the former Liberal prime mînister, who although he never led a majority government, gave Canada its own flag and introduced medicare in the mid- 1960s. CAP leader Hellyer, a member of Pearson's cabinet at the time, was instrumental in convincing Radford to seek 4e partýy's-nomination -ROBERT.ADFORD
