Plays based on romantie Christmas legends The Peter Pan Players wvill presènt a selection of three plays gleaned from themostbeautiful of Christmas legends. One i s the true story behind the most haunting of Christmas carols, "Sulent Night"land dealswithhow the lyries and music of the carol were composed by a t h ou g htful priest of long ago. Another of t he imaginative presentat ions has a plotwound around live Christmas trees who engage in witty dialogue about the celebration in different lands. The third play revol ves around the story of Father Brebroeuf whowvrote the "Huron Chris t- mas Carol t, a Canadian Indian Christ- mas story. E n ti tle d "A Festival of Lights', these three plays, wvri tten and directed byMrs. Robert Crichton, vvill be pre - sented a t the Durham Lecture Theatre December 9 and 10 at 7 p. m. , and Dec- ember Il at 10:30 a. m. and 2 p. m.
