On November 9, two comm i ttees wene formed on the request of the town ta raisemoney for the victims of the Aug- ust 28 flooding under the titie of Whitby Storm Damage Relief Fund. Conimittees composed of volunteer workers The commi ttees, made up of votunteer c i t izens, who are not empioyed by the town, wiît attempt ta raise money toaîad the fi1 ood victims and distribute it as f airtyas possible to those m ak ing ci aims. The c ampaign comm ittee, composed of B ria n W inter, chairman, Bih1 and Judy Durkee, and Harold Eaton, begins i ts ac t ivities Saturday, December il wvith adisplay of photographs and press cîippings about the flooding in the vac- ant Toronto-Domin ion Bank at Brock and Dundas Streets. Committee headquarters The bank Mill be open from 9 a.m. tao 5 p. m. f or people to drap in, view the dispiays and taik to members of the committee.
