WE NEED YOUR HELP Af ter seriaus reconsideration and ad- verse political pressure, the publisher and edi tor of the WHI TBY FREE PRESS have deci ded not toresign frornthe campaign commi ttee of the Whi tby Storm Damage Relief Fund. It would be futile to deny rumours of other resignations and the alledged ap- athy of the town council where the fund is concerned, but we sincerely believe that with your help, considerable res- t i tution can be made ta the victims, or at least ta some of the victims of last sum merls storm. Our next fund raising endeavour will be in the form of a 'Mardi Gras' evening in conjunction wi th the Whitby Chamber of Commerce.
