The purpose of the feasibility study i s t o make an in depth report on the best possible location for a sports stad- ium for the Toronto centred region, he explainedand the findings of the report which has been underway for some time now, should be known toward the end of August. AI t hough Alderman Rotenberg says he personally feels Whitby is too far from metro for a stadium built for pro- fessional sports, he indi cated Whitby would be an ideal location for the Dis- neyland aspect as outlined in the init- ial proposai in the Iroquois Park sche- me. Asked if the Whitby mayor's alleged connections atQueen's Park would have an y.bearing on the provincial govern- ment's treatment of the Iroquois scheme, Rotenberg sa id: "I don't think so. We all have our connections, Mr. Newman's are no more or less than anyone's. "However my personal ob- servation is that Whitby is not the most suited site. " "But of course that is not without prejudice.
