The Ontario Humane Soc iety now has three trucks on patrol in the municipality ail of them equipped with two-way rad- i o s . Mrs. Allen advises that the soc- iety receives very few irate calîs from the Whitby area which would indicate that their present service is adequate. The patrols operate from 8 a. m. to 7 p. m. Monday to Friday, and from 8 a. m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, with a 24-hour emergency service.
