In the 1 6-team tournament, the Road R-ýunners defeated WaI Iaceburg 1 2-2 and Sarnia 18-9 to reach the semi-finaîs against the defending home-town Wind- sor Dragons. A narrow i12-10O win put the local boys into the champ ionship con- test against Mal ton. At the end of regu- lation time, \/ith the score tied 12-12, the Road Runners caught their second w i n and fired 4 unanswered goals in overtime to take the title 16-12. In the 288-player tournament, Date Sawyer of the Road Runners was named MostValuable Player, and Jayde Gibbs won the scoring titîe with 12 goals and 12 assists for 24points. Dale and Jayde were setected to the tournament Alîstar Team and Road Runne r coach Bobb G ibbs was named Sun Partor Alistar Coach.
