Aird, Part- lier, P.S. Ross & Partners Ltd, Deputy Labour Minister Robert Johinston and Michael Starr a former Federal Mini. ster of Labour. The Task Force will examine: 1. The administrative structure of the Workmen's Comi- pensation Board. 2. The role of the workmien's advisers. 3. The composition and responsibilities of the W.C.B. 4. Safety functions of the Board and the Ministry of Labour. 5. The whole question of retiremnent benefits and at- tendance credits of employees and Board Members. 6. Delivery of rehabilitation services. 7. Relation of the W.C.B. to the Minîstry of Labour and to the Government. It is expected that the Task Force would make its re- port by June 30, 1 973. 'ark 1'mbers of kmen 's ,nel as BOOST IN SOCIAL ASSISTANCE PAYMENTS Increases in allowances under the Family Benefits Programme, effective January 1, 1973, were announced which will resuit in an additi 'onal expenditure of $ 16 million in the first full year. Approximately 82,000 Ontario resi- dents benefit fromn the programm-e and the current adjust- ments are varied to ensure that those who are niost affccted by the rising costs of living will receive the greatest revision. DISCLOSURE 0F POLITICAL CONTRIBUTIONS In a statement to the legisiature in December, the Premier announced that legislation would be presented in the near future to provide for disclosure of political dona- tions. In addition to this commitrnent, many other aspects, of this question will be referred to the Ontario Commission on the Legisiature. Mr. Davis' purpose in creating such legis- lation is "to maintain a political systemi in which the various political parties can function and campaign for public sup- port freely and openly and -... in an afrnosphere above and beyond public doubt, suspicion or cynicism."
