They trav- elled to Markham in which they doubled the score on the hometown boys by an 8 - 4 win. Marty Gallas led the way with two, Glen Johnson tallied with four assists. The other goal scorers were Harold Lynburner, Richard Pigeau, Mark Millar, ioey Mlntyre and Todd Casey round out the scoring. They next met Ajax in Ajax to decide first place. Ajax opened the scoring and B.W. came back and tied it up. The B.W. boys then opened up and played good defensive hockey and beat the Ajax Club 9- 3. Harold Lynburner, Joey McIntyre, and Danny Gallogley each got two along with a couple of assists. Glen Johnson picked up one goal and assisted on four., Wade Roberts and Richard Pigeau picked up singles and assisted on some. Mark Nlillar also got four assists. Marty Gallas picked up two. BROOKLIN WHJTBY CONSOLIDATED B UILING CORPORATION MAJOR MIDGETS played a gaine against Ajax in which they defeated them 6- 4. They also were entered in the Georgetown Tournament. They won the first gamne 6 - 5 in overtime and went on to the finals but lost 5 - O. These boys leave for Sarnia for the Silver Stick. on Friday. Scoring for the C.B.C.'s were Dave Allen and Mike Rowley with 2 each and singles by Tim Brown and Brad Staley. Ajax scoring was handled by Dave Gifford, Bill Murray, John Plitz and Ray Toli. - BROOKLIN - WIIITBY MAJOR MIDGETS FINALISTS, IN GEORGETOWN TOURNAMENT Brooklin-Wbitby Major Midgets won their first gaine of the Georgetown Tournarnent on Thursday, January I 7th when they defeated their opponents from Aneaster.
