Four trucks responded to the 9.27 a.m. call, and 15 Whitby fireflight- ers took about 20 minutes to control the blaze. Fire Chie f Ed Crouch said the cause of the fire was a short circuit in 'the extern- sion wiring which ignited a nearby chesterfield.
