REPORT During the week of August 4 to 10, inclusive, officers investigated 28 motor vehicle' collisions which resultedin $37,000.00 damage, and 12 people were injured. 4 people were kille.d as a resuit of 3 accidents. On August 4, 1974, at approximately 2.10 a.m., Robert HARDY of Ajax was killed W'hen his vehicle went out of control and struck a cernent abutment on Highway 401. On August 8, 1974, at approximately 7.00 p.m., two Whitby residents, Carlo NOVAKOUSKI and Michele MOTTOLA were killed when their vehicle went out of control and collided with two other vehicles on Regional Road 2 north of Concession 3. On August 10, 1974, Robert GOURLAY of Hamilton, was killed on Highway 401 westbound opposite the- Georgian Motor Hotel.
