PAGE 6. WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 15,ý 1975 . WHITBY FREE1 * Byin 1 have to start with a thank you to Mrs. Susan Holoduke for her radier delightful letter, last week. I only regret thiat Mike couldn't reproduce the actual notepaper, which was really something...I'm now known as the one that gets the class mail down at the office! But seriously, it is great to hear that such kindriess has been shown to a newcorner to the area. ..and also very nice to know that it' was apprecia- ted. 1 would agree that most North Warders are a very friendly biunch of people ... but I stili feel that.it is difficuit for newcomers to get into the social scene. And 1 think that is flot due ta à deliberate 'cold front' policy, but rather to the fact that various groups stili work on the 'grapevine' system of communication. And as V've said before ... that system is fine if you know that it exists and if you can find an extension that lets you in on the activity. 1 have ta agree that things are changing. .sa many more groups are now informing the area at large, thro' the Bylines. Which of course is what we are here for. So keep it up ... and those that have not been in touch yet ... give me a cali. 1 know that you would welcome newcomers if they did turni up at your meeting ... but they can't do that if they don't know where or Mien it is taking place. But thank PRESS you once again, Susan. It was nice of you ta take the timei ta write. And now onto the business of the week!
