SQUIRT The Gulls and the WrAns lead the Squirt division with nine points each. Kelly O'Connor scored three goals to pace the Robins to a 4-2 win over the Larks. Danny O'Connor added a single for the winners while Greg De Witt'fired the losers' goals. Billy O'Meara scored three times and Greg Clarke and Greg Mark twice each as the' Gulls downed the Sparrows 7-3. Scott Thompson, with two, and Craig Murphy replied for the losers. Neil Muschett's hattrick powered the Wrens to a 7-2 vic k-ry over the Owls. Rich Neely added a pair and Doug Thurron and Albert Curtis singles. Chris Mealing and Graham Norton scored for the Owls. NOVICE Ivan's Hairstyling, with 24 points, are in first place in the Novi-e division. David Gray scored four goals, Billy Chilton three, Vic Refalo ;wo and Tom Clarke one as McTeague Electric upset Brooklin Legion 10-6. Steven Vesters and Robert Delong scored twice for the losers who got singles from Scott Powell and Steven Brenton. Jesse James Hairstyling off board as C.B. held Ivan's the score- Foster and Sons, despite being m!tshot 24-10, chalked up a 1-0 shutout. Jason Bruneau scored the only goal of the game. MINOR ATOM Mercury Auto Body have a firm grip on top spot in the Minor Atom division. Mercury Auto Body trounced Munn's Press 6-1 on two goals by Jeff Haley and Steve Goodchild and singles by Danny Forbes and Frank Ignazzitto. Renay Collins replied for the losers. Beaupre's Esso doubled the score on Duff's Towing, winning 4-2 as Randy Case scored twice and Billy Owens and Jamie Lees once each. Kevin Tushingham and Jim Pipher replied for Duffs Towing. MAJOR ATOM Whitby Firefighters and Mowat Insurance, with 18 points each, are tied in first place in the Major Atom division. Whitby Firefighters doub- led the score on Koke Shell, winning 6-3 on two goals by Tom Scheefer and singles by Darryl Papoushek, Tom Ward, Paul Pringle and Kevin Roach. Dodd and Souter downed I'.C.'s 4-1 as Patrick Laggan scored twice and Phil Watson and Alex MacDonald once each. Ian Ward scored for the losers. MINOR BANTAM Canadian, Legion and Algoma Orchards, with one win each, lead tie Minor Bantan division round robin. Canadian Legion whipped Mercantile 7-2 on two-goal efforts by Mike Brear and Scott Wallace and singles by Clayton Taylor, Bill. Lamont and Don Mark. Algoma Orchards downed Red Wing Orchards 5-1 as Mike Dickson scored twice and Rick Vesters, Jeff Solly and Larry <ernohan once each. Ron Burns replied for the losers. MAJOR BANTAM- MINOR MIDGET Whitby Lions finished the regular season in first place in the Major Bantam -Minor Midget division. Scott Sersma recorded a shutout as Canadian Tire blanked Ewing Pools 3-0 on goals by Mike Sorichetti, Jeff Dinsmore and Ted Magnall. Whitby Lions defeated Gus Brown Motors 6-2 on goals by Darrell Mask, David Morrison, Mike Liebisch, Paul Gibson, John Misasi and John Buisman. Conn,or Morrison and Derrick Minaret replied for tlie losers. Rotary Club downed Kameka Shoes 5-2 as Joe Fusco scored twice and Todd Sandrelli, Kevin Green and Mark Yaroff once each. David Elliott, with two, and Steve Matika replied for Kameka. Kinsnen Club defeated GN Sports 6-2 on two goals by Craig Short and Scott Ravary and singles by Ed Galley and Russ Heffering. Allen Andrews and Paul Bagrnell replied for the losers. MAJOR MIDGET - JUVENILE U.A.W. Local 222 and Ottenbrite's Men's Wear, with one win each, lead the Major Midget-Juvenile division round robin. Cary Burgess turned in a flawless goaltending perfor- mance as Ottenbi-ite's Men's Wear blanked Whitby Welding 3-0 on goals by Ken Colley, Mark England aryd Mike Lear. U.A.W. Local 222 edged Bell Canada 5-4 on goals by Rick Vanderlinden, Tom Schroer, Alec Simpson, Alex Kehoe and Brent Kegault. Paul Ravery, with two, Brian Roberts and Blair Harison replied for tie los',rs. Cambridge Hornets' goaltender Bob Dupuis kicki uut a shot by Whitby Warriors' Greg Bodnar during an Ontario Hockey Association S'-tuor 'A' game last week. Whitby goaltender Dave Boyarski faced 38 shots, and allowed goals by AI Osborne and Don Vipond. Cambridge netminder Bob Dupuis faced 35 shots, yielding a goal to Ed Taylor.
