Game time is 8 p.m. The Builders look in good shape for the upcoming sea- son as they won two exhibi- tion games and tied one. On Wednesday, they downed the defendingchamp- ion Peterborough Gray - Munroes 14-10 at home. Neil Atkinson and Ken Colley each scored four times for the winners while Bryce Jordan fired a pair. Whitby won the game 14-10. The Builders defeated the Mississauga Chiefs by the same score on Friday. Whitby opens the regular season tonight with the Oshawa Legion Gaels providing the opposition. Scouting for the Chiefs were Ron Smith, with four, George Chandler, with two, and Mike Hicks, Dave Pirog, Rick Halliday and Kim Crossman with singles. Students excel in track meet Several Denis O'Connor High School students turned in excellent performances at the recent Queen's University Track Meet in Kingston. Andrew Hausdorf, a midge t competing in the open 300 metre event, took 22 seconds off his midget school record. Hilary Berber finished second in the midget 1500 m. and third in the midget 800m. Donna Grant, second in the heat in the junior 400 rm.; and Pat McIntyre, second in the heat in the senior 400 m. and third in the heat in the senior 200 m. Peter St. Pierre finished fifth in the senior javelin event; Janet Jacobs, fifth in midget discus event; Bernie Boulanger, sixth in midget discus event; Robin McLaren, seventh in the midget javelin event; and Jennifer Van Leeuwen, seventh in junior javelin event. Two of the school's top competitors, Louise Desbois and Martin Heenan, were unable to attend the meet.
