Warriors' Gerieral Manager AI Arnmstrong announced hast week the acquisiion of Don Pagnutti from the Barrie Flyers in exchange for cash. Pagnutti scored 34 goals n 4 asitsfo "7MpInts in the 1975-76 season while phaying centre and left wing for the Flyers. Pagnutti, 25, is a n ative 0f Sudbury and now lives in Toronto where he works as a chartered accountant. Before playing with the Flyers, lie was with the University of Toronto Varsity Blues for five years. In his last three years with 'the Blues, he was the team's top scorer and in his ast two years, AiI-Canadian centre. The Whitby teamis faired reasonably well in the mosquito and peewee sec- tions but not s0 well in the bantam section where the local Ferrco team were up against somne stiff opposition. Both, the Whitby Rangers and Carretto '2estaurant did advance to the semi-finals only to be eliminated fromn further competition by teams who, on that particular day, proved to be stronger.
