Fe rs ht Norni Cafik, Member of Parliament for Ontario Riding has announced that an Industrial Seminar cover- ing the entire business community of the new Region of Durham is schedul- ed for Wednesday, March 6 in Oshawa. Mr. Cafik and officiais from the Federal, Provincial and Regional governments wiIl meet with the business people of Durham Region at the General W. Sikorski Polish Veterans Hall. This is the fourth seminar of this type organized by Mr. Cafik since lis first election in 1968. Mr. Cafik said, "the purpose of these seminars is basicaliy to acquaint the businessmen with the services, programs and facilities availabie to the-m from the Government. Al too often the smail entre- preneur will flot even be aware of ail the positive measures government provides to business. 1 arn confident that the participation of the Minister of Industry, Trade and Commerce, the Honour- able Jean Chretien, will provide a most useful and worthwhiie experience for the business community of Durham Region. Mr. Cafik went on to, indicate that the seminar in Oshawa is being organized with the cooperation of the Area Association of Chambers of Commerce (ACCORD) and the Regional Municipality of Durham.
