The following are the standings in the various leagues as of last week. MINOR ATOM In the second game in the best of three play-off series Feb. 23 at Brooklin, the Brooklin Concrete Products tean edged Ajax 4-3, with two goals by Danny Fisher, and one each by Tom Clark and Jason Bruneau. The series now stands at one game each for Ajax and Whitby. MAJOR PEE WEE In the fourth game of the best of five series Feb. 26 at Brooklin, Bay Ridges defeated the Lasco Steelers, 3-2 the two Whitby goals being by Don Mowat. This game tied the series at two games apiece for Whitby and Bay Ridges. Bay Ridges seemed confident it would take the series, but after this game, the series with Whitby was tied 3-3. In the seventh game, Feb. 28, Ferrco Engineering won 7-3, taking the series from Bay Ridges by 4 games to 3. They now advance to the quarter finals against Kingston Township. MINOR BANTAM standings The Brooklin-Whitby Optinists were eliminated from the quarter finals by Trenton, losing three straight games. In the third and final game at Brooklin March 1, it was 8-2 for Trenton, and in the second game, Feb. 27, Trenton outscored the Opti- mists 7-2. In the second game, March 1 at Kingston, the Beavers again defeated Kingston, this time by a score of 6-3 to take a 2-0 lead in the series. Next home game is March 12 at Brooklin. In the second game, Paul Shaubel,- Frank Janssen, Ken Lynde, Kelvin Mask, Wayne Misselbrook and Led Breenen scored for the Beavers. JUVENILE In the first game of the best of five series Feb. 28 at Iroquois Park, the CBCs de- feated Kingston Township 7-2, with two goals by Blair Gibson and singles by Dean Seymour, Brian Ward, Dan Kemp, Garry Bruce, and John Jordan. Anderson Collegiate wins carnival swim meet Anderson Collegiate won the Whitby Winter Carnival High School Swim Meet by a mere 10 points, Feb. 26, edging out Henry Street High School 169 to 159.
