PAPER DRtIVE - WHITBY SCOUTS The boy scouts wilI collect papers on Saturday, February il in the Corridor Area north of Highway 2, from Elizabeth Crescent to the Whitby Oshawa Town Line. Please have papers bundled and, at the road in a conspicuous place where the boys can easily see them. Apparently some papers were missed on Garrard Road last paper drive, so Scouts, make sure you pick up ail that are out for collection. Remember - Fe\bruary il - Help the Boy Scouts. Thornton Public School at 8 p.m. The purpose of the meeting is to present the financial and other reports, adopt a constitution ad* by-laws and to elect a slate of officers. Tis meeting is very important to ail the area residents, so plan to *attend. GARRARD ROAD SUBDIVSION> The subdivision, to be located on the 'east side of Garrard Rd. will be discussed at the Administrative com- mittee meeting on:Monday February 6. The Centre is scheduled to open on Tuesday, February 7th, and il is anticipated it will be the prototype to numnerous such Centres around the Province.- The Centre will provide a broad range of services to Ontario consumers, educators and business groups. How- ever, one of its main goals is to make consumer information more available to the public. There will be staff on hand to help with questions and to assist in locating information.
