MAJOR PEE WEE In a rouùnd robin game Jan. 24 at Ajax, the LASCO Steelers trounced Ajax 7-1 with th.ree goals by Andre Cadieux, two by Richard Daley, and one each by Brian Hunter and John Byberg. In another round robin game Jan.31 at Brooklin, the Steelers defeated Bay Ridges 5-3 with three goals by Brian Hunter 'and one each by John Byberg and Andre Cadieux. 1MINOR PEE WEE In a round robin game Jan. 29 at Brooklin, the Ladies Auxiiary teamn de- feated Ajax 5-2 with two goals by Gary Roberts, and one eachbyJoeyNieuwendyk, Dave Sachko and John Allen. PEE WEE NO. 2' Jan. 28 at Brooklin, Mark- ham defeated Mercury Auto Body 64. Whitby goals were two, by Jerry Vallier and one each by Jeff Haley and Chris Williams. In an exhibition game Jan. 29 at Brooklin, Mercury Body defeated Port Perry 3-1 with goals by Chris Williams, Gord Van'Kessel, and Jerry Vallier. MINOR, BANTAM In a round robin game Jan. 31 at Brooklin, Ajax defeated the Optimist Beavers 3-1, with Ken Keenan scoring the only Whitby goal. BANTAM NO0. 2 Jan. 28 at Brooklin, the Brooklin-Whitby team, de- feated Markham 6.3 with two goals by Don Mowat and one each by Calvin Avison, Steve Cole,- Scott, eu rns' and Greg O'Connor. This was a four-pointer game and gave Brooklin-Whitbythe league championship. MINOR MIDGET In a round robin game, Jan. 28 at lroquois Park, the Commerce Capitals defeated Bay Ridges 3-1 with two goals by Charlie Meitner and one by Rob Peltenburg. Jan.29 at Ajax, Commerce Capitals tied Ajax 5-5 with goals by Peter Pipher, Todd Cotton,, Charlie Meitner, Darreil Blacquiere and Steve Gallagher. In a round robin game, FEb. 1 at Iroquois Park the Commerce Capitals defeated Ajax 3-1 with two goals by Peter Pipher and one by Charlie Meitner. <.MAJOR MIDGET ln a round robin garne Feb. Î at Iroquois Park, Ferrco Engineering shut out Ajax 1 -0 with a goal by Keith Wilson. Goalie Gord Brown got the shut out. MAJOR ATOM In an exhibition game Jan. 29 at Brookin, Brooklin Home Bakery tied Uxbridge 4-4 with three goals by David McWhirter and one by Chuis Daley. MINOR ATOM The LASCO Steelers Pee Wee1 AA minor hockFy team were runners-up in the Silver Stick finals at Port Huron Michigan, Jan. 30. The Steelers won their first two games, but lost out to'St. Boniface, the Winnipeg Metro AAA team. WIN THE Oshawa, Golf Club Wins Ted Chàxier'sOshawa Golf Club rink won the second annual Mr. and Mrs. Bonspiel held recently at the Whitby Curling Club'. Chenier won the Canadian Imperial Bank ofP Commerce trophy - by winning three, games with the highest point total. Twenty-four teams competed in* the two-day spiel, haîf being local rinks. Winners of the first event were Ted and Lucille Chenier and Ron and Joan Armitage of the Oshawa Golf Club. Runners--up were Norm and Maxine Rhora and Gord aind Pat Watson of Tam Heather Club. Winners of the second event were AI and Marlene Betts and Craig and Marjorie Ann Gerratt of Annandale. Runners-up were Jim and Marcia Giddings and Wayne anld Diane, Henderson of -Annandale.
